THE PROBLEM OF DIFFERENTIATION BETWEEN COLLOQUIAL (LITERARY) AND LOW COLLOQUIAL WORDS

Abstract

The article tackles the problem of the differentiation between colloquial (literary) and low colloquial vocabulary. The author pays special attention to the criteria of the differentiation between colloquial (literary) and low colloquial words and to the marks colloquial and low colloquial which can be found in explanatory dictionaries of the Russian language.
