B. Y. POPLAVSKIY'S DILOGY "APOLLON BEZOBRAZOV" AND "BACK HOME FROM HEAVEN": COLLISION OF EXISTENTIAL TRENDS

Abstract

The article contains the analysis of the philosophical peculiarities of the existential prose by the Russian writer - emigrant B. Y. Poplavskiy (1903-1935). Sharing the existentialism ideas the writer couldn't accept the philosophy of either religious or atheistic trends of this doctrine. In his novels Poplavskiy collides these two trends and unintentionally debunks the negative sides of the ideas of both ones.
