MAKSIMILIAN VOLOSHIN. “LEGEND OF ENOCH EPIFANII”

Abstract

The author considers the final stage of the creative and spiritual development of Maksimilian Voloshin, represented in his poetic work “The Legend of Enoch Epifanii”, shows the peculiar interpretation of Old Russian texts and their spiritual interpretation in the tragic reality of the beginning of the ХХ th century, and tells that at the same time the biblical-folk rhythm and free verse are masterfully used by the poet.
