CONCEPT “TIME” IN D. BROWN’S NOVEL “INFERNO”

Abstract

The article considers the linguistic ways of expressing the concept “time” in the context of D. Brown’s work “Inferno”, and determines the basic semantic patterns of verbal representation of this concept in discourse. The purpose to reveal the semantic patterns of the concept “time”, together forming a common discourse notion about time in the context of the work, is new in this article. The article distinguishes between scientific and discourse concepts.
