LINGUO-CULTURAL PHENOMENON IN THE CONTEMPORARY ENGLISH-SPEAKING WORLD: SPANGLISH

Abstract

This work is devoted to the cross-language version - Spanglish, which is a special linguo-cultural mixture of the English and Spanish languages. They naturally come into language contact, forming a productive version, filling the modern English language with a new form and content. The article conducts the social-cultural analysis of this version and discusses the social-linguistic aspect of its speech use in the modern English-speaking society.
