SEMANTICS OF THE PHRASEOLOGICAL UNITS WITH THE COMPONENTS-CLOTHING NAMES IN THE ENGLISH AND RUSSIAN LANGUAGES

Abstract

The article is devoted to the semantic analysis of the phraseological units with the components-clothing names in the English and Russian languages. The study of the phraseological units of the different languages with a view to identify their national and cultural specifics allows better understanding the psychology and world outlook of the peoples. Evidently, the elements-clothing names are represented in the phraseology of the English and Russian languages; they are a kind of mirror reproducing the history of mankind.
