MORAL VALUE CRITERIA AND GENRE TRANSFORMATIONS OF THE OSSETIC SHORT NOVEL

Abstract

The article deals with some peculiarities of the Ossetic prose of the XX century, which determines artistically the meaning of life, re-creates the moral view of the world, and studies the value orientations and norms of human beings. The fate of the hero is vitally connected with the fate of the people, with the national way of life and national culture. All this enriches the genre essence of the Ossetic short novel and gives it the novel functions.
