PARAGRAPH AS A UNIT OF TEXT DIVISION IN A COMPLEX SYNTACTIC UNIT (BY THE MATERIAL OF THE ANALYSIS OF G. A. ZYUGANOV’S ARTICLES)

Abstract

The article gives a scientific rationale of the notion of a complex syntactic unit or a super phrase unity within the text and the political discourse. The author proposes to analyze the text of the political person in terms of the division into paragraphs and thematic-rhematic models with the determination of connecting syntax-lexical chains. In the process of the analysis the logical-semantic and syntactic-stylistic principles became the basis of paragraphs differentiation, proposing to consider a communicative interval in the complex of functional peculiarities of all the levels of the language. G. A. Zyuganov's statements in the context of the representation of people's opposition force in Russia became the object of the empirical field of the text.
