SPA: HISTORY, ETYMOLOGY, VARIANTS OF DECODING AND TRANSLATING FROM LATIN INTO RUSSIAN

Abstract

The article is devoted to a popular nowadays abbreviation SPA, the history of its appearance and present use in the industry of beauty and sport. Special attention is paid to the critical analysis of the existing and possible variants of decoding this abbreviation in Latin and their translation into Russian. The etymological analysis of some components of this abbreviation allows the author to single out the most preferable for use among them.
