“TALKING” IDIOMS IN BUSINESS-COMMUNICATION (BY THE MATERIAL OF THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE)

Abstract

The article examines the rapid penetration of image language means into modern business communication, for which the lack of emotionality and other style elements was peculiar earlier. Special attention is paid to the study of the applied phraseological units in business communication, which describe the speech character (talking idioms). Thematic groups of “talking” idioms are revealed
