POST-COLONIAL MOTIVES IN THE TATAR PROSE OF THE XXI CENTURY (BY THE MATERIAL OF THE NOVEL BY F. BAYRAMOVA “FORTY SUMMITS”)

Abstract

The article is devoted to new developments in the Tatar prose of the XXI century, in particular the manifestation of postcolonial motifs in the creative work of F. Bayramova. By the example of the novel “Forty Summits” the main trends of the forming post-colonial literature are determined. The main theme is the fate of non-Russian peoples in the USSR. Structuring according to the principle of binary oppositions, the use of schemes of a heroic epic, existential character of the authorial voice, psychology and idealization, romanticizing of the main character form the basis of her style.
