CHARACTER OF ETHNOGRAPHY OF THE RUSSIAN DEMOCRATIC LITERATURE OF THE 60S OF THE XIX CENTURY

Abstract

Creativity of writers-democrats of the 1860s, peculiarities of their artistic manner, including the nature of ethnography of their literary heritage have not been the focus of our literary studies in recent decades. The author of the article, considering the question of the nature of the ethnography of the Russian democratic literature of the 60s of the last century, seeks to reveal its close connection with the science and social movement of the epoch and gives an analysis of the works of a number of writers-democrats - N. Uspenskii, P. Yakushkin.
