DIMINUTIVE AS A PRAGMATICON TOOL IN THE DISCOURSE OF SOCIAL NETWORKS

Abstract

The relevance of the study is due to an increase in the frequency of the use of grammatical and lexical variant forms in the modern computer-mediated environment. The article is aimed at revealing the pragmalinguistic specificity of using diminutive constructions in social networks. By now in the discursive field of social networks a specific lexical layer has already been formed, in which whole subsystems of diminutive constructions are distinguished. In the discourse of social networks diminutive can perform one of three functions: positivising, pejorative and signifying.
