THE LINGUOPRAGMATIC ANALYSIS OF NEOLOGISMS FORMED FROM PROPER NOUNS IN THE FRENCH LANGUAGE

Abstract

The article deals with the lexical innovations formed from the proper nouns of the French politicians. It is noted that the study of such neologisms in the linguo-pragmatic aspect is conditioned by the growing interest of linguists in the functional side of the language. It is shown that the pragmatic potential of the neologism is objectified in the sense that it contains the extra-linguistic information available for perception and analysis. It is ascertained that the choice of these units of language by the addresser plays a crucial role in speech communication, namely, in the impact on the addressee.
