THE STUDY OF I. A. KRYLOV’S CREATIVE WORK BY FOREIGN STUDENTS (BY THE EXAMPLE OF THE FABLE “THE CROW AND THE FOX”)

Abstract

The article examines the specificity of studying I. A. Krylov’s creative work by foreign students (by the example of the fable “The Crow and the Fox”). The informational material helps foreigners to get acquainted with the basics of the Russian culture and the Russian language. The author of the article emphasizes that acquaintance with the work of the Russian poet allows students to understand not only the allegorical meaning of the fable, but also its connection with people’s experience and folk wisdom.
