ADALBI BRAEV’S POETRY: HERO’S PORTRAIT AGAINST THE BACKGROUND OF AN EPOCH

Abstract

The article by the material of A. Braev’s early works examines the peculiarities of personage’s self-presentation which allow evaluating the level of correspondence with the prevailing in post-war poetry canons of personality depiction or the level of divergence from them. The peculiarities of his hero are concretized in much detail in the ethical and esthetical context of post-war poetry, in the aspect of inevitable gaps in self-consciousness of different generations and in the light of biographical moments which influenced poet’s worldview and his individual style.
