CONNECTION BETWEEN GENERATIONS IN THE WORKS OF RUSSIAN WRITERS OF THE END OF THE ХХ CENTURY

Abstract

The article reveals the connection of generations in the works of Russian writers of the end of the XX century. The author analyzes the images of the father and son in A. Prokhanov’s work in comparison with the images of “sons” in the works of A. Bitov and Yu. Nagibin and concludes that only the hero of A. Prokhanov truly loves and respects his parents. The writer shows precisely the connection of generations, and not their remoteness from each other, as it occurs with the named authors. When analyzing the characters, the author of the article proceeds from the understanding of the personality formed by the Christian faith.
