PARODY TONALITY: DEFINITION AND CHARACTERISTICS

Abstract

In the article such type of communicative tonality as parody tonality is considered. As the material for the research the texts of institutional and person-oriented types of discourse were chosen. The analysis of the material confirmed that parody tonality has the specific ability to use the distinctive features and means of other tonalities with the purpose of their imitation.
