THE INTERPRETATION OF THE CONCEPT "GENTLEMAN" IN THE NOVELS BY E. M. FORSTER

Abstract

In the article one of the key concepts connected with the English national character is considered. The concept "gentleman" is used by E. M. Forster for revealing the features of interethnic relations between the representatives of different nationalities.
