IMAGOLOGICAL ASPECTS OF LANDSCAPE IN THE NOVELS BY E. M. FORSTER

Abstract

The article contains the analysis of the function of nature description in E. M. Forster's novelistic creativity. In the writer's novels the author of the article names the revealing of the problem of national character as the basic function. One of the metaphorical images is fog which gets another perception in Forster's works.
