COMPARISONS IN M. Y. LERMONTOV'S CREATIVITY: GENDER ASPECT

Abstract

In the article the review of the existing approaches to the consideration of comparisons in linguistics as a whole and of being of comparisons in the language of fiction is given. The sensual-obvious form of the reflection of the real world in a person's consciousness allows to pull together different subjects (properties, phenomena, etc.) with the help of comparisons and to reveal a number of additional attributes in gender concepts, and it naturally enriches the artistic impression.
