TO THE QUESTION OF THE CLASSIFICATION OF VERBS FROM THE POINT OF VIEW OF THEIR USE IN PROGRESSIVE
Abstract
In the article the review of the various variants of the classification of verbs based on the principle of the frequency of their use in continuous tense forms is made on the basis of the works dedicated to the practical grammar of the English language by both domestic and foreign authors. In the article the attempt of the analytical approach to the consideration of the verbal classes which are essentially important for studying Progressive tenses is undertaken with the revealing of problem issues and the description of the suggested ways of their solving.
