TARGETS-ATTITUDES AS MANIPULATION TARGETS DETERMINED BY GENRE (ON THE EXAMPLE OF SPEECH TEXTS OF BRITISH POLITICIANS)

Abstract

The article is devoted to studying the manipulation targets determined by genre, the character of which is determined by the attitude of message recipients to the genre basic participants and its ritual peculiarities. The author distinguishes such targets-attitudes as «producer opponent and its group (party)», «producer and its group (party)», «recipient as genre participant», «traditional message promise», «estimated producer purpose» and describes the linguistic means of their actualization.
