THE MAIN PRINCIPLES OF IRINA SNEGOVA'S INTERPRETATION SKILL

Abstract

The article is devoted to the coverage of translation principles of the Russian poetess - Irina Snegova who made a great contribution into the development of Russian-Armenian literature interconnections. I. Snegova followed the character of an original and its intonation while translating. She lived in the world of the poet whose verses she had been translating; she followed the feelings of the poet. She admired the sincere verses of Ovanes Shiraza about motherland, mother and love. In this article I. Snegova's translations of O. Shiraza's and V. Davtyan's poetry are considered as they are marked by emotional nuance and are the samples of the lofty poetry.
