THE JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL PROJECT

Abstract

This action research study suggests that short videos of three to six minutes can be used to stimulate junior high school students' learning. Three classes of Taiwanese students (20 students each) were taught using three different teaching methodologies. The classes took place once a week for two hours each. One class employed the use of the videos, one class incorporated games, and the third class consisted mostly of lecture and discussion.
