INTENSITY MANIFESTATION IN THE GERMAN LANGUAGE

Abstract

The author considers the system features of the German language as compared to other Germanic languages related to the extra- and inter-linguistic factors of its development. The long stay of the future Germans in a tribal state, where the “cult of a leader” played a significant role, caused stress on semantic root vowel, which led to changes in the system of declensions and conjugations. The extra- and inter-linguistics of the German language caused changes at all language levels.
