Abstract

The author analyzes the grammatical forms of present tense indicative mood presented in the language of the Tatar newspaper text of the beginning of the ХХ th century, singles out three nuclear forms, two of which are not typical of the modern Tatar literary language, and tells that in this case it is the use of the morphological forms typical of the Oghuz languages, but at the same time it is possible that this phenomenon is the probable echo of the old written language.
