V. BRYUSOV’S FLASH FICTION: PARADIGMATIC DEVELOPMENT OF MOTIVES AND IMAGES

Abstract

The author considers the features of images and motives development typical of V. Bryusov’s flash fiction, draws parallels between the novels “Little Marble Head” and “For Myself or for Another Woman?”, shows that similar situations, which form the basis of the novels plot, are resolved differently because of differences at the level of narration, determines that a woman’s image, typical of the writer’s lyrics, finds its plot embodiment, acting in developed chronotope, and also analyzes the embodiment of anti-utopia in the writer’s lyrics and flash fiction.
