MOTIVATION FEATURES IN THE PROCESS OF LEXICAL NOMINATION OF VOCABULARY UNITS RELATED TO AGRICULTURAL DISCOURSE

Abstract

The author reveals the notion of lexical nomination from the perspective of motivation of its constituent units, tells that the reflection of existing reality by means of language is the basis for the research of source derived word motivation, and the selection of feature, which forms the basis of nomination, depends on the significance of reality to the subject; and pays particular attention to the peculiarity of motivation of recently emerging objects of reality within the framework of the discourse type under research.
