TO QUESTION OF MEN'S NEGATIVE EMOTIONAL STATES INDIRECT DESCRIPTION IN ENGLISH-LANGUAGE LITERARY TEXT

Abstract

The author describes the negative emotional states in the English-language literary text, considers this problem from a grammatical point of view, paying special attention to the constructions, indirectly describing men’s negative emotions, conducts the analysis of one of the most frequent means of negative emotions indirect description, which is comparison; takes into account the use of metaphor, and pays attention to the lexical content of constructions, which suggests the conclusion about the ways of emotions intensity language representation.
