STRUCTURE OF AZERBAIJAN TOPONYMS OF ZANGEZUR ZONE

Abstract

The Azerbaijan people throughout its history had close cultural, political and economic relations with the Armenian people. These relationships are represented in the language facts of these people, especially in their onomastics. There are toponyms of the Turkish origin within the Republic of Armenia, as well as there are Armenian geographical names within the Azerbaijan Republic. The author tells that the research and structural analysis of the Azerbaijan geographical names within Azerbaijan are of great scientific and historical value.
