PHRASEOLOGICAL UNITS WITH NEGATIVE PERSON EVALUATION IN THE ENGLISH AND GERMAN LANGUAGES

Abstract

The article considers negative evaluation expressed by phraseological units in the English and German languages. Phraseological units extracted from different dictionaries were qualified into different groups according to those negative characteristics attributed to a person that they express. The author analyses phraseological units with a meaning «quick temper».
