Abstract

The article studies the organization of knowledge and memory space by analyzing the lexical units with the meanings “far”, “near” by the material of the Middle Ob region dialects. For the first time by the dialect material the features of correlation between the semantics of spatial vocabulary with the meanings “to know”, “to see”, “to hear”, “to remember” are revealed. The study is conducted in linguo-culturological aspect. As a result of this work it is shown that the universal semantic opposition “far – near” at the lexical and semantic levels serves as a reference point in the space of knowledge and memory.
