VOSI CONSTRUCTIONS AS TRANSITIVE VERBS COMPLEMENT IN EARLY NEW ENGLISH LANGUAGE

Abstract

In the article constructions with infinitive verbal forms are considered, approaches to these constructions distinctive features interpretation presented in literature are analyzed. The complement definition, its structure, and also verbs classification according to their potential ability to complementation are considered. It is revealed that VOSI constructions designate all infinitive complementary constructions, which are preceded by the nominal phrase. VOSI constructions use frequency as transitive verbs complement in the Early New English language is researched by the material of the Early New English monuments.
