STRUCTURAL FEATURES OF POEM “IN DARKNESS” BY GADZHANAN MADKHAV MUKTIBODKH

Abstract

The article discloses the structural features of the poem “In Darkness” by G. M. Muktibodkh, the ideologist of the literary trend “new poetry” of Hindi. In this poem the unity of time, place and action is shown. All three elements are closely connected with the emotional state of the lyrical hero, and their description is changed depending on him. In the poem fantasy and real worlds are closely intertwined (the main action happens when dreaming), their boundaries are often fuzzy, incitement to transition is often stimulated with the hero’s strong emotion.
