CONCEPT “HERO” IN ORTHODOX AND LUTHERAN CONSCIOUSNESS (BY MATERIAL OF TEXTS OF JOHN OF KRONSTADT AND J. H. WICHERN)

Abstract

The article reveals the specificity of the concept “Hero” in the different types of religious consciousness – Orthodox and Lutheran – by the material of the texts of two prominent representatives of the Orthodoxy and Lutheranism of the XIX ^th century. The article reveals the semantic features of this concept, and conducts the analysis of its semantic features confessional specificity. It is concluded that the presence of confessional features in the features structure of the concept “Hero” is conditioned by the specificity of the appropriate type of religious consciousness.
