THE RUSSIAN IDEA IN THE NOVEL BY F. M. DOSTOYEVSKY “CRIME AND PUNISHMENT”
Abstract
The article is devoted to investigating the means of artistic expression of the Russian idea in the novel by F. M. Dostoyevsky “Crime and Punishment”. The profound analysis of the poetics of the novel allowed the author to draw the conclusions extending considerably the up-to-date conception of the novel. The paper shows that the basic method for representing the Russian idea is a system of images some of which have a complex symbolic meaning.
