Abstract
The author presents the comparative analysis of the story "On Murid of Sheikh Dhu'l-Nun al-Misri" by A. Kargalyi, which is Sufi in content, and various versions of the legend about Fudail ibn Iiad. The narration is notable for the author's brilliant interpretation. In the work the major attention is drawn to ethics of obedience and submission of the murid to his sheikh. The ending of A. Kargalyi's story where the author appeals to a reader with moral and ethical edification are very important.
