THE THEMATIC CLASSIFICATION OF THE TATAR EPOS: NOVEL-LIKE AND HEROIC WRITTEN DASTANS

Abstract

The article touches upon the dastan-like creativity of the Tatar people. Mainly on the basis of national ethnic tradition the author creates an idea about the Tatar written dastans, singles out heroic and novel-like thematic groups, reveals its types and identifies the general evolution in the appearance and development of the Tatar written dastans. The research is not aimed at studying only national spiritual heritage, it makes a certain contribution to the investigation of general scientific problems of the study of epos.
