THE SON OF LEAFY GROVES" OR THE SON OF A STAR? THE PHILOSOPHY OF NATURE IN M. YU. LERMONTOV'S CREATIVITY

Abstract

Nature in M. Yu. Lermontov's creativity has a significant place, in his lyric poetry it lives and acts on a par with a human, it is not only the background where lyric events take place but also an independent, thinking and sensible "hero". It looks so natural that the other variant would be impossible for M. Yu. Lermontov, because he felt subtly his affinity with it and he even called himself a son of the rudiments.
