EVOLUTIONAL AND SEMIOTIC LINES IN THE LANGUAGE AND CULTURE (AT THE TURN OF THE XIX-XX CENTURIES)

Abstract

The article tries to investigate the evolutional processes in the language and culture of the XIX-XX centuries. Investigating the conception of evolution the paper examines the logical chain: the term “evolution” à evolutional lines à evolutional and semiotic lines . The author analyzes the fundamental works of the foreign, Soviet and Russian scientists involved in this circle of problems substantiating the theory by the examples in the technical and spiritual and cultural aspects.
