IMAGE OF A BIRD IN THE TATAR LITERATURE

Abstract

The article is devoted to investigating the image of a bird in the Tatar literature. By the example of the works of the Tatar writers the paper analyzes the different images of birds (swan, skylark, crane, seagull, etc.) and their role in revealing the subject. Analysis of the bird images helps not only to reveal the character of a certain personage but also to present in more detail the life of the Tatar people, to evaluate their spiritual values and proprieties. The basic function of an image of a bird is to personify native land, home, motherland.
