NEGATIVE PARTICLES IN THE ENGLISH AND CHUVASH LANGUAGES: TRANSLATION ASPECT

Abstract

The article presents a comparative analysis of the functioning of negative particles in the English and Chuvash languages, specifies the translation correlations of the compared particles, identifies the regularities of the methods for transfer of semantics of negation in the process of translation of the English negative particles into the Chuvash language. The author provides examples from the authentic English fiction: “Fairy Tales” by O. Wilde and its professional translation by B. Chindykov into the Chuvash language.
