EXPRESSIONIST IMAGES «FRÜHVOLLENDETER», «WELTSTADT», «FREMDLING» IN THE LYRIC POETRY BY MARIA LOUISE WEISMANN

Abstract

The article examines the creative work of the German poetess of the first half of the XX century Maria Louise Weismann (1899-1929). The paper investigates her possible casual acquaintances with the representatives of expressionist trend and features in her poetics influenced by the poetics of expressionism. The author examines the images « Frühvollendeter», «Weltstadt», «Fremdling» developing a motive of Apocalypse which is one of the most important motives of expressionistic lyrics. For the comparison the author uses poetical texts of the poets-expressionists Georg Trakl and Georg Heym.
