“MIRRORING” AND “INFECTION” AS TECHNIQUES OF COMMUNICATIVE STRATEGY OF PERSUASION

Abstract

The article is devoted to describing the communicative strategy of persuasion and analyzing the techniques “mirroring” and “infection” realized within its framework. “Mirroring” and “infection” are the techniques realized in different types of communication. On the basis of the conducted linguistic analysis the author claims that the techniques “mirroring” and “infection” can serve as elements of the communicative strategy of persuasion.
