NARRATIVE AND INFORMATIVE TEXTS FOR READING IN THE CONTEXT OF EXAMINATION DISCOURSE (BY THE MATERIAL OF A SECONDARY EDUCATION EXAM IN THE NATIVE LANGUAGE IN ENGLAND)

Abstract

The article analyzes informative and narrative texts for reading in the native language in the context of secondary education exam in England: General Certificate of Secondary Education, English Language Unit 1: Section A Reading. According to the author, the structure of examination text influences immediately both the type of task suggested to the applicant and its complexity.
