CHINGLISH AND FRANGLAIS: LINGUO-CULTURAL ANTIPODES

Abstract

The article describes two interlanguage forms - the versions Chinglish and Franglais, which represent two extremes in social-linguistic and cultural aspects. The linguistic features of these interlanguage forms are considered, and the comparative analysis from the social-cultural point of view is conducted. It is shown that the product of interaction of English with other languages is determined mainly by the national-cultural features of the recipient country.
