PROBLEM OF EQUIVALENCE OF CONSTRUCTION TERMS AND LOANWORDS TRANSLATION FROM ENGLISH INTO RUSSIAN IN SUBLANGUAGE OF CONSTRUCTION TECHNOLOGIES

Abstract

The article is devoted to some features of terminological systems of the English and Russian languages in the sphere of construction, as well as to the specifics and certain difficulties in translating technical texts. The authors consider the problem of stylistic inconsistency in the translation, which occurs when comparing the cross-language relative synonyms of a similar type, as well as homonyms and paronyms and corrupts the translation. The paper notes the ungrounded excessive use of those loanwords that already have the Russian equivalents.
