THE MORPHONOLOGIC TRANSFORMATIONS OF THE DERIVED STEM AS A FACTOR OF ITS LEXICALIZATION

Abstract

The article examines the morphonologic processes and phenomena, which lead to the shadowing of the derivational structure of a Khakassian word. Six kinds of such processes and phenomena are singled out, leading to the deformations of the derived stems of the synthetic and analytic types. These include: the qualitative change of a consonant owning to the regressive assimilation, the vocalization of an unvoiced consonant in the inlaut of the composite, the change of the rows of vowels, the formation of a long vowel, the metathesis , the syncopation of the generating stem. The changes of the morphonologic character, consolidating in the process of the language development, lead to the de-etymologization, the metanalysis, the loss of the inner form of the word, in consequence of which it is lexicalized.
