LEXICAL AND PHONETIC CHANGES OF THE NAMES OF THE CERTAIN PARTS OF THE BODY IN THE LEZGIAN AND TABASARAN LANGUAGES IN THE COMPARATIVE AND HISTORICAL ASPECT

Abstract

The article provides comparative analysis of the names of the body parts in the closely related (Lezgian and Tabasaran) languages. Comparative analysis indicated that the compared languages, except for the common phonetic and morphological characteristics, possess the specific features typical for a certain language. Phonetic changes of the compared somatonyms indicate that the difference is identified basically in the acoustic aspect of the words of the compared languages.
